Welcome to my site for Timber
Product Technology, Second Year Students.
This website will be developed as you progress through second year. It will be a valuable resource keeping all your content together in one place. It is a platform for you to showcase your work and view other students work from your year and other previous years. This website will be used in conjunction with Brightspace and Bongo. Virtual classes will be delivered through Bongo and Coursework will be posted here and on Brightspace. You will be required to submit assignments through Brightspace.
The
material covered in this module is great preparation for your third year
Capstone project, and you will have access to it for your final year.
Material will be added on a
regular basis and you will be expected to read, view, evaluate and or carry out
tasks in keeping with the blended learning element of this module. Sometimes
you will be asked to view material in preparation for class so read your emails
daily. Make sure that you forward your college
emails to your own email that you use daily.
Click on the titles at the top of this page to bring you to a different topic. On each page you will find some useful
information, class notes, PDF's, Power Point presentations and videos relating to your
module as well as links to external webpages.
Please email me links to any
other videos or information that you may think will be of interest to the rest
of your class. I can also post information on shows or upcoming events if you
provide me with the details.
Finally, I would appreciate any
feedback that you can give me, on how you found this website as a teaching platform. If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to share them with me. Email Jennifer.byrne@tudublin.ie

A great resource for inspiration and sharing ideas! You will
have to create an account so remember to use same password for these social
media accounts not your personal accounts password. Never ever use the same password that you use for a bank account, email login etc.
